Do your best to curb your chances of coming down with a cold or the flu by eating healthy, staying warm, and following basic hygienic procedures.

Keep Your Ears Warm and Dry

It’s cold and chilly outside, and keeping the cold and water off your ears is more than just an issue of comfort. Severe problems can arise due to overexposure to moisture, the wind, and the cold. Make sure you never leave your house without covering your ears if the weather outside is frightful. When it is cold outside, make sure you cover up your ears with earmuffs, a scarf, or a hat.
